2. Proud East’s Anti-Valentine’s Day Party
While for some people, Valentine’s Day is an exciting way to spend quality time with the one you love, what about those of us who are single on Valentine’s Day, or who believe it is a load of commercialised rubbish?
Proud East are holding an Anti-Valentine’s Day Party for anyone who wants to celebrate against this yearly tradition. Games, ping pong and pool can be played all night, there will be prizes to win and there is even a wall to write and draw any anti-Valentine’s messages on. Food is also available.
Anyone over 18 is welcome to join. Celebrations are on the 14th February from 19:00-21:30, tickets are £5 each and can be ordered online.

This event will be taking place on the 10th February from 21:00-04:00, available to anyone over 18, with tickets starting from £15.

4. National Maritime Museum’s Seduction Late
If you are looking for things to do as a couple in London, then why not snatch up this romantic opportunity that the The National Maritime Museum is offering you this Valentine’s Day.
Teamed up with the Georgian Dining Academy, you will be presented with an evening of dancing, love letter reading and mask making.
To be part of this enchanting evening that is taking place on the 14th February from 6:30pm-10pm then book your ticket online for only £15 per adult, or £12 per member.
5. Keats House
There are plenty of thing to do in London, especially around Valentine’s Day at Keats House.
On February 11th at 18:30, for £15 you can visit the Keats house (with a complimentary glass of fizz) and explore the home where poet, John Keats fell in love with Fanny Brawne who inspired his most romantic poetry. During this time you also get to make a Regency-inspired Valentine’s card, listen to some of Keat’s romantic poetry and love-letters, along with live jazz at their pop-up bar. Pre-booking this event is essential.
Meanwhile, three free guided tours are being held at Keats House on the 12th February, titled Valentine’s Guided Tour: ‘Love is my religion’, starting at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.
During this tour you get to hear the love story of John Keats and Fanny Brawne and visit the first floor of the home. Limited places are available for this tour.
6. Last Night a Speed Date Changed My Life
Are you dreading another Valentine’s Day coming and going, while you are still single? Are you surrounded by happy, giggling friends in relationships, chatting about their Valentine plans, while you are planning an evening in, eating pizza and watching sad romantic films?

12. The Covent Garden Comedy Club Valentine’s Day
If there is nothing you enjoy more than a good laugh, then one of our top ideas for Valentine’s Day is for you to visit the Covent Garden Comedy Club.
Known to be the best show of the year, Covent Garden Comedy club are holding a comedy show on the 14th February. The room will be filled with balloons, there will be DJ music, not forgetting free snacks and sweeties for all!
For this particular show, you will be able to watch stars who perform on TV. This includes Dave Johns, Christian Reilly and Rudi Lickwood. MC is Sally Anne Hayward.

13. St Valentines Romantic Vaults
If you and your other half or a group of mates want to be served wine and canapes, then here is your chance.
On Saturday 11th and Tuesday 14th February you get the opportunity to hire a private gated VIP vault, where you can relax, enjoying a romantic glass of prosecco bellini while listening to music.
Private vaults can be hired from 5pm-8:30pm or 8:30pm-1am for £60 per couple. This includes prosecco bellinis, gourmet canapes and fresh scarlet rose for the lady. For people who would like to extend their booking till 1am, you can do so for a £40 supplement.
14. The Candlelight Club
One of the top and most secret events in London is The Candlelight Club.
While this event isn’t necessarily being held on Valentine’s Day, if you are up for a good dance, dressed in 1920’s clothing, then The Candlelight Club is the place you want to be.
St Valentine’s Day Massacre is being held on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th February and is on from 19:00-00:00. The venue of this event will be emailed to you two days before the event occurs, as it is held in a secret London location.
